Brief
Factorydesign asked us to take their approved sketch concepts and work through the product design engineering in Solidworks to get to the final A-surfaces as required by the client.
Approach
We use a flat modelling process in Solidworks where a single part contains all the 'design intelligence' and the rest of the components parts follow this master using in-context relations. The result is a very stable model that is quick to rebuild and free from errors.
Outcome
The epilator was completed on time and to budget despite the complexities of surface modeling the complex form.
