Approach

This was our first attempt at creating a mould for the Precious Plastic recycling equipment, so we wanted something achievable but also interesting enough to create a bit of 'noise' in the socio-sphere.

Since we enjoy surfing we decided that a wax comb would be a good place to start.

Outcome

The Rice&Carry surf wax comb has been a great success, enabling them to take the off-cuts from their upcycled-rice-bag production and turn those into yet more products. The combs can be found in surf shops around Sri Lanka, and indeed even as far as Bali!
